Meryll Rogge’s debut for Marni revisited the house’s foundational language of Consuelo Castiglioni-era eclecticism, reworking its familiar tension between bourgeois refinement and bohemian eccentricity.
The collection leaned heavily into texture and surface contrast, with fuzzy outerwear, sheer layered pieces, and oversized sequined elements introducing a tactile rhythm across the runway. Familiar Marni references were reintroduced through small but recognizable gestures, including retro-inspired sandals styled with socks and slightly off-kilter proportions that recalled the brand’s earlier identity.
Accessories played a particularly defined role, with sculptural metal jewelry, embroidered handbags, and pony-print footwear adding character and directional accents to the looks. A subtle Western undertone appeared across several pieces, reinforcing the collection’s eclectic visual references.
Silhouette-wise, the show explored boxy tailoring, elongated shirting, and relaxed trousers, with menswear and womenswear sharing a similar structural vocabulary. The overall effect drew from a mix of 1990s references and vintage-inspired styling, emphasizing individuality and layered styling over polished uniformity.
